Love Makes a Family

We talk about waiting on God A LOT around here at Messy Marriage because, frankly, this life is full of “waiting on God.” And as I’ve mentioned before, God very often does His greatest work in our lives when we wait on Him, and this could never be more true than in the lives of a couple that I want to introduce you to today …

Their names are Tony and Emily and they are on a God-born quest to adopt two sisters (8 and 2 years old) from East Africa. This can be an incredibly difficult undertaking—the waiting on God’s timing to bring all the pieces together—and the financial burden that comes along with it. But this couple is willing to face this challenge with God’s help.

And we can help too!

We, here at Messy Marriage, have the privilege of linking up with Love Makes a Family and 14 other bloggers over the first 14 days of February to support Tony and Emily in this honorable calling to provide a forever family to these sweet and deserving little girls.

You can help by simply making a small donation of $14 and your money will go a LONG way to help defray some of the expensive costs of this venture.

Would you consider helping?

If you’d like to know more about how to contribute and be a part of this beautiful story of the making of a family … click on the button below.

You can also visit Tony and Emily’s blog – Making Moves or visit a fellow blogger, Ginger, who helped to kick off the 14 Day Fundraiser at Moment’s Defined for more of Tony and Emily’s amazing “love story”of two little girls in need of a family.

If you can’t donate, then consider lifting them up in prayer as they continue on this journey.

And be sure to join us on Wedded Wednesday for our next Link-up where I’ll be sharing about the many vulnerabilities that can occur in a messy marriage and hoping to read many of your stories of marriage and parenthood too!
