New Fall Series Coming – ‘Back to School’ With Lessons on Falling Back in Love

Back to SchoolI’m gearing up for a return to MM after a long summer blogging break. I didn’t even finish all of my summer projects, but the one that really mattered—a marriage book proposal—was accomplished! Woot, woot!

In fact, I went to the She Speaks conference in July, where two editors requested my full proposal of this manuscript. But even if the door slams shut in my face, I’ve decided to view that as my cue to self-publish. So pray for me in this huge endeavor!

So as I return to blogging (officially on Tuesday evening, Aug. 8th), I thought it would be fun and encouraging to do a series that fits with what is on most people’s minds this time of year—going back to school! Only I will be tackling the idea of going “Back to School” in our marriages, especially when or if “the winds of marriage grow colder.”

Here are the 7 lessons we will be “studying” in the weeks to come …

  1. ‘Reading’ the best marriage manual
  2. ‘Writing’ prayers – the best way to gain perspective
  3. ‘Arithmetic’ – Counting What Counts
  4. The ABC’s of Forgiveness
  5. Science – reigniting the Chemistry of Desire
  6. The Fine Art of Listening to Our Mates
  7. Social Studies – How Your Behavior Can Change the Culture in Your Marriage

Each of these unpack seven of the most important lessons I’ve learned over the years in navigating away from messiness in marriage and toward blessedness in marriage. So I hope you’ll join me! 🙂

I will also be back to host my linkup, “From Messes to Messages” this Tuesday evening and Wednesday, as well.

Messes to Messages

So if you’re a blogger, I’d love to have you join me! If you’re a reader, I’d love to have you check out all the high-quality and inspiring posts from other bloggers who link with me during this weekly linkup.

Finally, I’m also gearing up for an 8-week study of Galatians using my WORTHY method in a closed Facebook group, starting Sunday evening, Aug. 13th. If you’re interested in joining me, please let me know below or by friending me at Beth Oster Steffaniak and requesting to be added to the group. This group is free and comes with no obligation from you. It’s just my gift to you, my lovely readers! 😉

  2. Sarah Geringer says:

Looks wonderful! Can’t wait to see it!

  3. That sounds like an action-packed summer. Exciting news about your book proposal! I suppose I shouldn’t wish you luck (?) but instead offer to pray for your success.

Looking forward to your new series, and the reading group.
