Winners and Quote for the Day

Kermit in the SmithsonianWell, it’s time to announce the FIVE big winners of our latest giveaway

(I don’t know about you, but I always hear Kermit the Frog in my head saying, “Yayyy” when I read/write that! Anyone old enough to remember the Muppet Show?) So sorry for the sidebar!

After using “Random Number Generator” …

The 5 winners are …

  1. Blue Cotton Memory
  2. Auntie Em
  3. Becky K.
  4. Megan
  5. Mercy

Each of you will receive an email from me with the download link for your e-book, When Sinners Say I Do. If you don’t have a link in the name of your comment, I may need you to contact me. My email is messymarriage @ gmail dot com.

If you didn’t win, but would still like to get the When Sinners Say I Do e-book, it’s on sale right now at Amazon in the Kindle store for only $1.99! Not bad, for such an excellent marriage book. I hope you’ll still check it out!

Let me leave you with this final thought as a “Quote for the Day”

“Do you know God as a God of mercy? Do you see your spouse as God sees him or herthrough eyes of mercy? If your answer to either question is no, it is unlikely that your marriage is sweet … Mercy sweetens marriage.”  Dave Harvey –  When Sinners Say I Do

Be sure to join us on Monday, when I’ll be sharing 4 strategies for calming yourself when the heat is on!

  • Neither my husband nor I were active in a church when we got married. We were supposed to be married by a JP, who had to back out the day before the ceremony. We were married by a clergywoman from the local Unity congregation. Since that time (16 years now), I have grown more active in my faith and my church-going, although DH has not … as of yet! 🙂 It hasn’t been smooth sailing by any means but things got a WHOLE LOT BETTER when I started praying /for/ him instead of complaining /about/ him.

  • Yes, prayer has such a powerful impact on, not just our spouses, but ourselves and our marriages, LuAnn. I think many underestimate God’s power to work in that way … especially with a spouse who is not a believer or actively following Christ. I’m so glad you’ve gotten active in your faith and feel God helping you! I know He has made my messy marriage so much better and healthier. We would probably be divorced or in the pits of messiness without Him! Thanks so much for stopping by and weighing in, my friend!
